Our friend, Ranger Mannie Gentile, has THE coolest blog post ever on his blog this weekend. If you’ve ever wondered about the fight for the Sunken Road at Antietam, I guarantee you that Mannie’s post will answer those questions forever.
Check it out.

Eric,
Blew me away as well. Things I loved were the photos taken after dark when the Confederates marched to the lane, and the shots of the ambulances retrieving the wounded.
Full kudos to Mannie, as that is something I have never seen before, and I look forward to the sequel. Awesome presentation, and as I mentioned elsewhere, better than the movies I have seen at various VC’s I have visted over the years.
It is the The Coolest Blog Post Ever dealing with the CW, and hope all check it out.
Hope all si well.

Eric,
I thought so too. I liked it so much I “Stumbled” it on StumbleUpon. If anyone reading this is using StumbleUpon I encourage you to stumble it too!

That was way cool! The family I visted the Bloody Lane a few weeks ago.

Eric:
Ahh, that brings back many fond memories of my backyard in the early 60’s. Just me and my Battle of the Blue and Gray playset that I received for Christmas around 1963. I spent hours upon hours doing just what Mannie did, limited of course, to the imagination of a 6 year old.Sure wish I still had all that stuff! Thanks for letting us know about the site.

I have been following Mannie’s various blogs, but especailly like the toy soldier one. Hell of a sense of theatrics and staging, he clearly is a ranger of many (mannie) talents.
Coolest. Blog. Everrr!
