At long last, tomorrow is election day. When the negative attack ads started in June, it seemed like this day would never come. As I said last week, it couldn’t come soon enough.
Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, please do your civic duty and vote tomorrow. The way I see it, those who don’t do their duty and vote have no right to bitch.
As for me, I intend to keep on bitching, so I will be there bright and early tomorrow morning exercising my constitutional rights (one of the very few constitutional rights we still have left, thanks to George W. Bush).
And, best of all, by this time tomorrow night, there will be no more attack ads…..

The saddest part about tomorrow is that regardless who wins, half the country will still think the other half has their collective heads up their arse.
I read an amazing story the other day about how if JFK had lived, he and Barry Goldwater had made plans to tour the country and debate each other in a civilized, gentlemanly fashion all across the country. Though both men had little to agree on politically, they apparently liked and respected each other enough on a personal level to carry out such a plan. How refreshing! Alas, I cannot even begin to see that happening today.
I sure am glad that GW took away the womens right to vote, brought back slavery, let state leg’s pick senators, and well that is all I can think of. One day satan will be thrown in the pit and I hope once GW is gone I can see a jar of Skippy peanut butter without laughing.
I know, I know get thee behind me satan and crawl back into your cave. Why can’t we have find a good Dem like Andy Jackson or a good Rep like Abe anymore.
Good luck to both sides. It is going to be a heck of ride either way.

Eric,
What if you’re a centrist Libertarian such as myself? Stay at home because your candidate has no hope of winning? ๐
Brett
Brett,
Vote anyway to preserve your right to bitch. ๐
