Adam Hendel also has a new Civil War blog, The American Civil War, which so far consists of some interesting scholarly articles. Have a look. Welcome to the blogosphere, Adam. I’ve added a link to your blog.

“Scholarly”? I don’t know…that McClellan bit cited Wikpedia a few too many times for me.

Look at his “March to the Sea” piece, and then see
Wonder how long it would take me to find the rest of Adam’s work.

My bad – to a degree. I just saw the note that he’d used the decades.com Web site.
That still doesn’t change the fact that Adam is copyrighting (spelled correctly this time) someone else’s work.

I notice everything is Adam-copyrighted on the blog – including Mort Kunstler prints and photographs readily available from the LOC. Most bothersome to me are the Wikpedia cites.
I agree with some other comments here — footnotes doesnt make it “scholarly.” I think he’s young, and earnest. He’ll stop citing Wikipedia after commenters give him some grief. I think I’ll go on reply to the Buford entry, telling him to change the Jeb Stewart references to Stuart before some SCV guys catch wind of it.

What’s interesting is he’s copyrited *his* work.
