On this Memorial Day, please take a moment and say thank you to the veterans who gave so much to permit us to enjoy the freedoms that we enjoy and who have worked so hard to keep us safe. Thank you to all who have made those sacrifices. I want to give a special thanks to my friend Col. Wade Sokolosky, who is just finishing up a year in Afghanistan. Wade’s son is also on active duty in the U.S. Army. Thank you, Wade.

And a special thanks to Sgt. Morton L. Wittenberg, USAAF, World War II, and Gunnery Sgt. Joseph L. Pacitto, USMC, Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm, and Somalia.

Hello, my name is Cory Andersen from Denver, Co and I found something in my shed the other day and through a little bit of research I believe I found a piece of Civil War history. I found a leather bound necklace with 2 pewter like pendants hanging from it. One being a confederate flag with C.S.S. 83 inscribed on front and CTA 21 inscribed on back. The other pendant is what appears to be a beaver with 153 inscribed on it’s belly. Also hanging from it is what appears to be a bear like animal tooth. I have picture and would be happy to send in hopes you’ll have more information on what it is I found. Please email me back with an email address and I will forward these pics on to you. CORYV1981@HOTMAIL.COM thanks again for any help and direction you have!!
