For tonight, there IS joy in Mudville–the mighty Yankees have been blown out. ๐Ÿ™‚

But there is joy in Raleigh, NC, Eric. I hate the Yankees as much as you do… ๐Ÿ™‚

I should have written, “_And_ there is joy in Raleigh…”

I knew there was a reason why I like you, Sean. ๐Ÿ™‚

Being a Yankees fan, I will just add, embarrassed, humiliated, and disgraced. What a joke.

That said…NY Rangers win again tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚ 13 round shootout against the Flyers, and King Henrik stopped all 13 of the Flyers shots during the shootout. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Eric,

I hate the Cowboys, too. ๐Ÿ™‚ And the Eagles are among the handful of NFL teams I always pull for. So we’re definitely on the same page.

    Eric:

I guess the Yankees weren’t the best team money could buy, after all ๐Ÿ˜‰

But alas, my poor Dodgers. Last night was like being DePodested all over again. But back to the playoffs is a step. For now, I’m looking forward to the ALCS, should be a great one.

I think the party is still going on in Detroit…

Yesterday was a Good Day ๐Ÿ˜‰

Today was a decent day for me. I was at Busch to see my Cardinals impersonate the Padres offense for a day, but I was glad to see the Tigers win in the playoffs for the first time in a long time. Jim Leyland scouted for the Cards for a few years in between managing stints, so I’m pulling for him.

I’ll be out in the left field bleachers for tonight’s game 4 of the NLDS, against ex-Card Woody Williams. We’ve got Carp going, so I’m hopeful they get it done tonight. If theyd don’t…I don’t want to think about Jeff Weaver on short rest.

Er, I meant YESTERDAY, of course.

๐Ÿ™ – Eric my friend, I will try to forget this when it comes time for your review… “I haven’t read anything this bad since…” ๐Ÿ™‚ (Just kidding – They deserved to lose with a line-up that good on paper and that bad at the plate… but it still stings.)
