]]>I have to say this.
Yesterday’s game was THE game they had to win.
This is the problem with these guys.
I imagine today they will come out and play the way they should have yesterday and win…….only to be tied again and needful of one final game.
Should they lose today…………..oh nevermind.
Oh the humanity!
]]>Figures.
]]>Being a Yankees fan, and a Mets hater, I have enjoyed watching the self destruct mode the past 2 weeks. You have to understand that the so called Mets fans in this part of the world proclaimed themselves World Champs back in June, and had a lot of fun on local sports radio blasting the Yanks for their poor start.
Last I checked, the Yankees are in the playoffs, and the Mets have failed to clinch a spot in the post season.
Don’t get me started on the feud between Rangers and Islanders fans here. 🙂
Hope all is well.
Steve
]]>You Philadelphia sports fans are so lucky!!! You have a legacy of sports success that we Cleveland fans would gladly trade places. Browns = no Super Bowls, last NFL championship in 1964. Indians = last World Series win 1948. Cavaliers = Never won anything before last season when they won the conference for the first time. The reward? A sweep by San Antonio. The Barons and Crusaders? Could not win and major league hockey moved from Cleveland. College sports? Cleveland States is terrible at basketball and there is no major college football in the area.
Of course, Philly doesn’t have much to brag about, but at least you kept your hockey team.
Next week – GO INDIANS! Nothing would be finer than to knock out the Yankees.
]]>The frustration of being a Philadelphia sports fan is unparalelled in sports history.
So, it’s safe to say that this is an incredible turn of events to be on the verge of winning the east division.
Didn’t the Mets do this once before??
Go Phillies……and Eagles!
Karl
]]>Didn’t make a single Phillies game this year – I did make it to Washington and Baltimore games, and some minor league games.
]]>This sucks. It’s torture.
