]]>I have been on a church mission trip and have just this day read of your father’s condition (my own Dad is 88). You have my prayers for his recovery and for you and Susan as this will require emotional and spiritual strength of both of you.
Please keep us all posted on his progress.
Best wishes always,
Lanny

]]>He had a severe cerebral hemorrhage, but it missed the autonomic nervous system. He’s awake, alert, breathing on his own, but his right arm and leg are paralyzed, and he’s having a really difficult time trying to speak. Time will tell.
The good news is that he was transferred out of the ICU today and into the stroke unit, and was able to resume eating solid food. The docs are pretty amazed that he’s doing well enough to do that considering the extent of the bleed.
