If it were up to McKinney and his Board, this property would be under water at the moment. Let us not forget BSF’s position paper from 2011–that is still posted on their website, by the way–about what they think should be acceptable behavior when it comes to what happens to prime battlefield property under their watch.
Now McKinney is pleased with the outcome?? Please. Where was the BSF when it was time to oppose the Lake? Where was the BSF when large funds were needed to secure this land for future generations to enjoy? I’ll tell you where they were — they were too busy looking for ghosts in the Graffiti House…
