]]>I do have to say that your comment humbles me. I, too, have seen you more excited about this one than any other – and we’ve been tight friends since the beginning, since right after the release of your first (GFCA). That you anticipate seeing this puppy in your hands (nearly) as much as I do 🙂 really hits home with me.
Thanks, Pard, and it was great working with you… now we have lots more to do!

]]>Eric and I have eagerly awaited the arrival of this book – me probably more so, since this is my first 🙂
We should have them in hand in a few days. In the meantime, watch our site http://www.stuartsride.com for updates and information.

]]>I’ve been waiting for this since I joined CWDG several years ago, and you mentioned that this book was in the process of being written. You know that I believe this area needed research to confirm/dismiss the many ‘truths’ surrounding JEBs operation. I know that you, and JD, will have gone to all possible effort in finding out what really happened, and providing an unbiased analysis as to the results. Basically, I can’t wait!
Finally, I’d like to thank you, and especially J D for making that extra effort, in ensuring that I get my copy this side of the water. Good luck for the release tomorrow.
Best wishes,
Mark
]]>This is a must buy as soon as it gets to the bookstore (interestingly, in my area of Virginia, Mr. Savas’ books are only available in Barnes & Noble and not in Borders…..go figure).
I am currently reading Rummell’s “Cavalry on the Roads to Gettysburg”, so it will be very interesting to get your take on the engagements prior to Gettysburg.
Good luck with the book and congratulations!
I’ve been waiting all summer to read your book. I can’t wait to read/contribute to the comments on the forums about your book. It does feel like this book is going to be popular. Good luck with it. Brian
