There is no question that there is a valid point of view worthy of discussion from the Southern side, but these yahoos have so corrupted it that it’s all but impossible.

The Other Site is New with 45 Descendents of the 3rd NC Cavalry Engaged in a Heritage and History Project. The Heritage Web Site may result in a Collobrative Effort of a Book or Manuscript Covering in Detail the History of the 3rd North Carolina. I am a Combat Veteran from Vietnam, with Nephews and Friends Who Have Done Several Tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Know This – “The Constant Search for Neo-Confederate Idiocy” that You Fight, However Noble, Can be as Dangerous as a Two-Edged Sword. I am “Spammed” Weekly by my “Northern Friends” with Insulting Southern “Red-Neck” Cartoons and Jokes about “Southern Idiots”. Yeah, these are the same Northern GI’s who have found Problems and Issues where they live, and are now found in different Southern States by the Millions. As the Old Parable says about “Looking for Riches” – They are Often Found in Your Own Back Yard. The Same Goes for Idiots.

My Passion is Research of the Troopers of the 3rd NC Cavalry, Visiting the Battlefields they Fought around Petersburg & Richmond, and Bringing Together the Descendents of that Regiment – locating Photos and Letters of the Members.
